SO overhwhelmed so I'll start simply...

These sunglasses are actually Sean's. I misplaced mine for almost a day but found them, Thank God. I lose more sunglasses than I care to mention. This was on Saturday, July 11th during "Snake Around the Lake"...I'll explain that later.

So, I wanted to do this huge THOROUGH vacation post but I am so jumbled and confused that I decided I will just have to wait until I get home and organize the pictures chronologically. It will be easier to post that way. I only have a few on this work computer, I stole them from my Facebook, but will post a bigger post tomorrow from home. I took close to 250 pictures so I will have to take some time and really find my favs to share. Also, I was not impressed with the number of comments about BILLY SQUIRE! This guy totally rocks. I grew up listening to him along with The Who, Rolling Stones, Jethro Tull, Janis Joplin, REO Speedwagon, Journey, Whitesnake...my parents had impeccable music tastes! I was fortunate to have been surrounded by classic bands and Billy is NO EXCEPTION. This video is from the Cherry Festival, the night we were there to see Billy. It's not the best video but maybe you recognize the song. He is 59 years old and looks and sounds AMAZING!
I AM back at work tonight. We got back into town around 7:45pm and I then had to run to the grocery store for fruit, yogurt, lunch meat, soda, and veggies.
We are sad to be back home. I got teary eyed on the drive back thinking about how much I miss everyone already. I won't be able to go back to Traverse until November...MAYBE even December so it's going to be hard. That said, Sean had an interview at Munson Hospital while we were up there!! It was unexpected. He went to meet a guy just to meet him for a minute, you know, give the guy a face to go with the name. One thing led to another and he snagged an interview with the manager of the Cath/ EP Lab. So...we'll hope that something happens by year's end with that. No promises were made but it's SOMETHING at least.
Cam's new port is in his chest now and he received his first dose of Chemo mid week. He also had to be put back on steroids, which make him grumpy and puffy. He may or may not lose his hair this time and there is something going on with his liquid intake and too frequent urination. Diabetes has been mentioned but no one really thinks that's what it is, probably a side effect of the LCH. He will have to go for Chemo every week for the next 6 weeks and then it will taper off but the Doc's are talking about continuing treatment for THREE YEARS! Ugghh. He was feeling fine when we saw him at the end of the week and again today so that's a good thing.
It was a wonderful vacation. We spent time with MANY friends: Sarah, Glenn, Nick, Chuck, Becky, John, Jessica, Ryan, Amy, Jason, Lindsay...and so many more that we "bumped into" while at the Cherry Festival. Like I said, I will do a more in depth post tomorrow but wanted to give y'all something to chew on. I don't want anyone to forget about me!!
